Angy YOLO Concept

This is a style study I did on Monkeystack studios based on a research assignment I had for university where I researched different Adelaide game companies and practiced their style. Monkeystack is an Adelaide based game company which mainly creates games, animations and Tv Shows. More recently they have created a Tv show called YOLO Crystal Fantasy. This show was created in partnership with Adult Swim which created Rick and Morty. I had a lot of fun watching this show and really liked the characters with their funny expressions and movements. While watching I always thought it would be funny if they made a third main character so I designed Rachel’s cousin who would be strong and protect her friends. I had a lot of fun with her design and really like how the expressions turned out. I also enjoyed looking into Monkeystack and its company.
